League Nights at Lumberjack Johnson's
The Detes
- Leagues hosted by Lumberjack Johnson's Axe Throwing are hatchet leagues.
- Dues are $95 per person.
- Leagues last 8 weeks.
- For weeks 1-7, each player will play four games against one or more competitors.
- Week 8 will be a double elimination tournament. Seeding in the tournament will be determined by the average game score from weeks 1-7.
- Each match will be the best 2 out of 3 games. Each game will have 10 throws. Competitors will throw their first five throws, switch targets, then throw the remaining five. Killshots are only open twich per round but can be called on any throws.
- Bullseyes are worth 6 points, the first ring outside the bullseye is worth 4 points, and each subsequent ring decreases in point value by 1 point per ring. Killshots are worth 8 points. Total possible points for each game is 64 points. In the event of a tie game, competitors will throw at the killshot of their choice. If both throwers hit the killshot, throws continue until one misses. If both miss, the thrower who hits the closest to the killshot is declared the winner.
- Competitors will have access to house axes. Lumberjack Johnson's has a selection of competition axes that are available for use. If a competitor wishes to purchase an axe, send us a message on Facebook.
- Good sportsmanship is necessary for everyone involved to have a good time - including the staff at Lumberjack Johnson's. While there are prizes on the line and competition is the name of the game in this tournament, LJ's will not tolerate poor sportsmanship.
